long time ago, i watched a TV program from CBS - Castle. One thing that really resonance with me is, the character is really charming, just kidding. In episode 1, he said to a self-protective female detective that
".... there is always a story, you just have to find."
For example, recently, my friend lost her phone on bus. it may suggest that she tired and fell asleep that she was holding her phone. and why her phone was not in her bag but outside? that must because she was using it or holding it and waiting massage. If she was playing some sort of game, then she must be very tired that even a game can not keep her awake. then what make her so tired? her job? bad sleeping? stress? If she was waiting massage, that person is meaning something to her, yet, the response is not quick so she fell asleep. anyway, there is a story that reflecting her status.
And if we know more about a person, about his habit, his live, that gives us more clues on constructing the story, a more close-to-real story. that is why our mothers know us well.
this kind of thinking always happened on me, and "There is a story" always reminded me that others foolish act or suffering is probably inevitable because if we know the story, know the history of the person, we will understand why he made that decision but not the others.
because i know it. sometimes i will act against my instinct, or roll a dice.... however, does it help to deny our fate???
